An innovation serving food safety
Launched in April and already awarded in July, the SALMOTRUCK, the latest innovation from VITALAC BIOTECH, a subsidiary of VITALAC GROUP, plays a key role in securing animal nutrition supplies. After more than two years of development, this unique device is now ready to make an impact:

The SALMOTRUCK moves between ports and storage facilities to ensure the sanitary safety of ingredients intended for animal nutrition.
An innovative device
The SALMOTRUCK represents the culmination of over two years of design. It is a unique, mobile, automated, and quick-to-install device capable of moving between ports and storage sites to decontaminate oilseed cakes and seeds for animal nutrition at a rate of 100 tons per hour. This innovation enhances Vitalac Biotech’s efforts to sanitize and secure every link in the supply chain.
Inauguration and Presentation
On Thursday, April 18th, during a dedicated day focused on securing animal nutrition supplies, we had the pleasure of inaugurating the SALMOTRUCK and presenting Vitalac Biotech’s hygiene approach.
This issue of food safety concerns every stakeholder in the industry. To develop collective solutions, such events are highly relevant. 75 industry participants were in attendance, including port authorities, importers, manufacturers, journalists, and associations.
Awarded two stars at Innov'Space 2024 ⭐⭐
We are pleased to announce that our SALMOTRUCK has been awarded two stars at the 2024 Innov'Space competition at SPACE Rennes!
